Hi! I am Angela Chambliss. I have been a long-time educator who enjoys connecting with nature and being creative. My mission is to inspire wonder and awe within others. After being inspired by watching someone freeze a bubble, the journey began! Many factors need to be in place to capture the awe Mother Nature creates on the delicate film of a bubble. These are photos that show the versatility of crystallization with the change of light and temperature. Enjoy!

Breath at Sunrise was taken in Lakewood, Colorado the day after a blizzard. The frozen bubble created crystallized leaves.

This frozen sphere was taken at sunset in the Chief Hosa area in Colorado.

Moonrise

This photo was taken of a frozen bubble that mimics the moon rising just as the sun was breaking the horizon.

This piece was included in the 38th Annual All Colorado Art Show at the Curtis Center for the Arts.

I have been combining my passion of photography and art with wood burning.

I have also started to work with the Lichtenberg method which burns patterns into the wood with electricity. Afterwards, I finish each product with resin.

All of my artwork shown here is mostly burned onto wood from a special place in Colorado.
